In Kårehamn there is a beach and jetty as well as a ramp where you can bring the boat that is available for rent on a trailer at your accommodation. It is a model Blekinge eel of 15 feet. There are nice walking and cycling paths down to the lake. Down here by Kårehamn there is a harbor for visitors, swimming area and barbecue area. By the lake there is a boules court and a paddle court (booked via the app Pulsen - matchi)
In Sunnaryd, which is a nice village, you can visit Pelles, an alpaca farm or take the ferry over to Bolmsö. The nearest store is the grocery store in Tallberga, then you also have the department store Smålänningen in Bredaryd.
A must is to visit Tiraholms Fisk which has a nice fish restaurant and sells smoked fish. From the holiday house it is not far to Isaberg / Hestra Park, which offers skiing in winter, hiking, golf, and mountain biking in summer. Nearby are Great Mosse National Park and Western City High Chaparall located. For restaurants and shopping you are also close to both Värnamo and Ljungby if you want more restaurants and some shopping.
Worth a visit are the moose parks in Lagan, Elinge and Smålandet in Markaryd.
