The Space:
The Modern by Portoro is an updated open concept home filled with modern touches and artwork, so there is beauty everywhere you look. It is bright and airy, giving you all the space you need to relax. You can't beat the location with easy access to all of the popular South Austin venues and Downtown. With three bedrooms and three full bathrooms you can each enjoy privacy with ample space to get ready for a night out on the town!
The living area has ample seating that is perfect to curl up on while you stream your favorite shows and movies on the 85 inch Samsung Frame TV. If you need to catch up on some work, there's a second living area with more seating and a desk perfect to set up your laptop. Once you've worked up an appetite, head into the gourmet kitchen complete with granite counters and a professional series Bertazzoni range.
Bedroom 1 features a queen bed, plush chair with ottoman, 65 inch Samsung Frame TV, and an en suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. Bedroom 2 also has a queen bed and lots of natural light. It is located near the shared full bathroom that includes a tub with shower. Bedroom 3 has ample seating with a queen sofa bed and a 65 inch Samsung Frame TV. It includes a desk for when you are inspired to work after looking out into the spacious landscaped front yard that the room opens up to. The backyard is sprawling and filled with native landscaping. There are multiple seating areas to enjoy good conversation in the outdoors.

We offer self-check-in. Portoro uses smart locks.
•We cannot guarantee early check-ins or late checkouts in advance. If the house happens to be ready earlier than our standard 4 pm check-in time on the day of your arrival, we, in most cases will allow an early check-in. For a reliable alternative with guaranteed check-in or check-out timing, it's recommended to book the night before or after your scheduled arrival or departure.
The Neighborhood:
Travis Heights, known by locals as Austin's urban forest, is located just south of Downtown and just north of the 40 acre Blunn Creek Nature Preserve.
The neighborhood encourages walking and cycling with trail access and bike lanes to more than 20 miles of bustling central Austin. Guest can walk down our private alley to Big Stacy Pool. The Pool is open year round (heated in winter), offers free-admission and is complete with swimming lanes and a deep end suitable for diving.
Big Stacy Park is located a few steps from our home and guests can jog, cycle, and play tennis, or simply relax in some of the natural areas in the 23 acre greenbelt along Blunn Creek.
Blunn Creek Greenbelt
The iconic South Congress shops and restaurants are less than 1/4 mile away. The Boardwalk portion of the Hike and Bike Trail (1/2 mi.). Visit Zilker Park (2 mi.) with Austin's jewel - Barton Springs Pool. View the bats from Congress Avenue bridge at twilight before you head downtown for nightlife (2 mi.).
Getting Around:
Austin offers plenty of transportation options. Ride sharing, micro-mobility, and mass transit are available everywhere. The airport is just 15 minutes away.

Prior to check-in, we will send you detailed directions to ensure a seamless arrival. Pack n Plays or High Chairs must be requested prior to arrival.
Guests can park in the driveway. This is a quiet neighborhood so no outdoor noise after 10 pm.
HOTEL TAX COLLECTION: Both the City of Austin and the State of Texas require all hotel and vacation rental hosts to collect hotel tax. We collect these two taxes within the booking transaction. The state requires 6% and the city requires 11%.
YOU ARE HELPING: A portion of the city hotel tax helps support Austin's musicians and related businesses.
